On Sunday night after StomperNet Live8, I resigned from my faculty position. I want to publicly state before any rumors get started that this has nothing to do with my relationship with Brad Fallon or the direction StomperNet is going. This has to do with focusing on my core business and getting back to basics.
After tracking in my business journal the amount of time, effort and distraction StomperNet was causing me, I was shocked. I started tracking it because I had a few members of the SEO Revolution tell me that ever since I joined the StomperNet faculty, the quality of my SEO information fell and I was focused more on Affiliate Marketing. That made total sense as I was the Affiliate expert with StomperNet.
I want to stress that I have no ill will towards Brad, and I think their launch next month will be very successful. StomperNet will go on without me and they will continue to be successful. I greatly enjoyed helping their members reach a higher level of success while I was there.
The main reason I started the SEO Revolution was out of frustration. Frustration at all of the lies and misconceptions that are posted in forums, given as advice in teleconferences, and even taught in live workshops. "So why didn't all of this work?" " Why wasn't my site successful?" " Why am I still stuck in a rut?"

Thanks so much for the sessions this past weekend especially Saturday night. That was pure gold, as is all of your content in SEO Revolution. Stompernet will definitely miss you but we are glad to have all of you back at SEO Revolution. I hope Andrew in Australia didn’t run you off like he did AJ! (jk Andrew!)

I know Stomper has some good stuff, but it has its ups and downs. You are always consistant and I look forward to new and excitiing information from SEO Revolution.
It’s true, you have been very distracted over the last year or so, to the point that I almost quit SEO Revolution because I felt the content was second to the efforts you were giving to Stomper, but deep down I felt at some point you would notice this lapse and correct it.
I’m glad I hung in there with you on SEO Revolution, and I did so because you are generous, helpful and give great quality content and I knew some day you would come back full force.

This is a sad day for Stompernet. Not for any other reason than you were a tremendous resource of knowledge and sanity within a group that did not always stay sane.
My hope was that SEO Revolution would be available through Stompernet Now I have to make decision that will be hard.

Jerry I was part of stompernet for a while and you provided me with the most valuable information i have every gotten, i have since left stompernet but have followed your every blog post and video you have realised else where.
I am delighted you have choosen to concentrate on SEO revolution as i was debating whether to join or not but now i am.
PS. I am in the process of leaving my job because of you, i followed all your advice and am now ranking all over the search engines for my keywords.

That’s gotta be a huge blow to Stompernet members. Jerry was the major reason I stayed with StomperNet as long as I did. There’s a lot to love and respect about StomperNet, but without Jerry, there’s definitely not as much of either remaining.

What is so hard about the decision? Stompernet=$800 a month. SEORevolution=$100 a month, and really all the best stompernet content is provided for $39 a month subscription to the Net Effect Journal. Seems like an easy decision to me.
