Link Building. We know it’s important, it just feels like we’ve been run over when we do it for any amount of time. Some have even compared it to prostitution or holding a sign “Will Work for Links”. For me, I’ve had experiences where I paid someone to do link building and received a note similar to this …
Jack just did a bunch of link building he knew wasn’t worth anything, took your money and pretended to “write you a note” like this idiot. Come on, did you know that companies advertising “One Way Links” are actually submitting your site to worthless second or third-rate directories that Google will NEVER spider? Have you wondered what happened to all the “directory submission services” companies out there? They’re still around, they’ve just been renamed “One Way Link” submission companies.
Ugh.
There is only one other person who takes my “No BS” approach to link building and that’s Dan Thies. About two years ago we came out with comprehensive link building courses that helped a lot of webmasters out. Yeah, it took work to get links, but they were good and they STUCK around. Which is good.
Dan is someone I trust. And I don’t trust many people. You should trust him too and here’s why:
Take 9 minutes today and watch his video. The frustration that many other webmasters feel when it comes to getting links maybe the same ones you feel right now. This isn’t some “link scam” system where you pay money to get in “the ground level” for crappy links that Google indexes once and then never again, this is a training system.
I’m going to be taking it as well. If nothing else, it will be worth 9 minutes of your time.
Watch Dan Thies’ Link Liberation and Get a Free BluePrint on one of the four processes.

The main reason I started the SEO Revolution was out of frustration. Frustration at all of the lies and misconceptions that are posted in forums, given as advice in teleconferences, and even taught in live workshops. "So why didn't all of this work?" " Why wasn't my site successful?" " Why am I still stuck in a rut?"
That note was to funny, genius, and yes, it sounds like elance. John T.
Dan Thiess, has been solid for such a long time. Love all his material. Will check the Vid Out
I followed both Dan and yourself for many years and enjoyed my time at StomperNet. Both of you are straight talkers. I like that.
I’ve already got on the early bird list and I’m looking forward to getting a peak at part 4 of Dan’s new training.
you got me in the end with the fast talking funny “disclaimer” Brilliant.
yes it is very difficult to get backlinks .. and your article is very funny
I actually got my car hit a few months ago, got the note with a phone number on it, rang the number and the girl who answered promptly gave me her insurance details! She said she’d been done over like in your note and would never do it to others. Maybe there is a parallel there also with link building. Anyway, thanks for the tip. Heading over there now.
This is the first time that I have commented using this particular anchor text or with this my newest site. I didnt notice before that this will be a nofollow link that I`m gonna get here. Thats cool cus I nofollow all of my external links also.
Your pretty cool in the advice that you give, but, Paying for “Best of the web” or any other advice that I get from the stomper Clan that requires money out is still taken with a grain of salt.
That is because of one bad apple that Brad tried to sell with this arbitrage conspiracy BS.
Dont get me wrong, Some of the more hard core info that I have got from you, I still give thought to on a daily basis.
But you know what M. Jackson said about the one bad apple.
I may read one line very intermittently of brads emails to me, but that usually is followed by the delete button.
Bottom Line: I wish that I knew that all this advice that could cost me money, was trust able. that way I could go and get my PR rank improved.
Just go and start singing M.J. to Brad for me and I`ll feel better.
I dont see why you have to do that. You were the one to give the heads up with A.C.
My comments are that there just seems to not be a whole lot of substance to Dan`s free material. That means that if interested, you must buy.
You are the ones that say to protect your credibility.
Well this credibility is ruined with one bad decision. And it apppears that mine is ruined also.
I stand behind Dan, and if you think his stuff sucks, don’t buy it. I didn’t get Dan’s stuff for free, I paid $800 like everyone else.
As far as credibility goes, spamming someone’s blog with “fast weight loss” is questionable at best.
Well I am left speachless,
What I wrote just may be misinterpreted.
I figure that Dan`s material is probably some of the best out there.
Yours in fact is the only blog that I do follow. But that is only when I have the time.
I was just expecting ( maybe its my fault ) a bit more free info from Dan is all. It appeared that it was going to come at the beginning.
Don`t take it personal, I don`t even know Dan. Nor do I have any reason to say anything bad.
I feed off the scraps, cus I don`t readily have the denero to kick out as you did.
I didn’t take it personal, I just don’t like Spam on my blog.
You surprised me with how quick you got back with me.
Thanks for the come back.
