I think it is bad that some one is using it. I did not do it before and I will not do it at any cost.

@Markus I get your drift on where you were going there. I often think of my past and use it as a means to analyze where I am and where I want to get to. Where I struggel is balancing it all out. How do you guys balance things out?

It goes like this, a customer searches for a keyword on Google. You have written an article which targets this word and have rendered it to a website which Google likes. The client finds your clause on page one, reads it, clicks on your internet site link, and jaws your internet site. All release best, you will have about affiliate link click-throughs, and special sales in there! That's the beauty of affiliate marketing.

If you dont have a site you can get a wordpress site done and hosted for very little money ?around $250 gets you a customized professional wordpress site and google loves the wordpress structure and it ranks those sites very well.
There are some very good internet marketing experts out there helping small businesses and for very reasonable costs.
Prices may start at around $360 per month but you get value and there isnt an SEO out there offering to work for 10 bucks. Professional help is transparent, measureable and guaranteed for pre agreed targeted results. You get what you pay for.
It can cut down your offline marketing costs too if you get it done properly.
Finding someone who not only does SEO but does the content creation and distribution for you as well as keyword research, updating content on your website and blog, having professionaly written press releases at low prices as mentioned above

There's a place in te UK called Sussex. Not to mention Middlesex. Essex and Surrey.

Nope we can't say there's no sex in Surrey, they have a growing population :-) (joke)

So does this comment flag your site as a fun with bodies site?

I think the Internet needs to get over itself!

If there is a moral, perhaps it is gurus should keep their clothes on, anyway.

If a PG audience is advised not to come to my WhatsOnInSussex site, I can live with that!
I think it will be balanced out by the very dissapointed randy audience who aren't looking for what's on, but what's off.

I'm Britsih, but I never knew sex was a bad thing. Who knew?

You've basically said that anyone with shared server hosting is out of luck. Some IPs won't even let you buy additional (non shared IPs).
These "services" and filers need to sort themselves out. I'll be banning any spiders I find from them to start with. But that's just me. Wreckless and full of hippy loving :-)

Peter - fully clothed - thank God.

This is a great point how you can be tagged as something you are not if you aren't careful. I don't get the MF bashing either. If you don't like it, unsubscribe. It is that simple. But bitching will get you nowhere in life.

Julia,

You are exactly right, that was the intent of the post and instead it turned into a "venting" post. Mike called me after he saw this post and it was a very positive conversation. I told him that just because I didn't like his style of marketing didn't make it wrong. There are a lot of people who don't like my style. I expect that. When everyone likes you that's when you have issues. :-)

Hold on, everyone, I thought Jerry's post was about avoiding accidentally being tagged as a disreputable site and how even savvy marketers get caught out. Instead it unleashed this anti-MF barrage! I know that some of Mike's courses have worked for some people, and just because they didn't work for you it doesn't mean that he's a shyster.

He sends a lot of email, he's an internet marketer. Flag his emails as spam and you won't have to read them!

One of my parked domains got flagged as an adult site by Yahoo advertising and it was a domain about constipation. Took awhile that cleared up and I lost on the parking revenue.

Hi, I am developing an intense frustration with all of the "gurus", who continually roll out the same old crap and call it New and Improved. I believe that Mike Filsaime is just a crook, who pimps himself out to every internet product out there. What does that make you?
