Arrived at SES

I just arrived in San Jose for SES. Feels weird being back. You see, I was born and raised in San Jose … graduated from Branham High. I can’t believe twenty years after I moved away the airport is still as awful as when I left.

Due to my late arrival I missed the first day’s sessions, however I did attend the evening reception for all the speakers and exhibitors. I ran into Bruce Clay and had a great conversation with the folks at Enquisite. I’ll be getting a private demo of their software tomorrow which focuses on tracking the traffic coming to your site from search only. This way, you aren’t just “following the Long Tail” you are converting it.

Sounds interesting, but I will see if it actual can do what is claimed and it does what we all want: delivering data which is accurate and actionable.
