That would be a great story, he’s probably endured years of anonymous abuse in fan forums, and would no doubt like to get even.

Unfortunately, it’s not the same guy. “The same guy” had some, er, drug problems, and won’t be elected to anything even if he does finally retire from football.

I think that this kind of thing gets a lot of hype in the media, but in the end it would be very difficult to pass this, let alone police it. Not going to happen.
