Overall effect in March was a net decline in PR. In fact, the deep pages have even less PR.

As of Sept 2008, continued random dropping of PageRank on various directories continues to fall.

Even some formally decent DMOZ pages, with good quality inbound links have randomly dropped PR to 0, while nearly identical categories maintain PR just fine.

Ultimately, broad directories will continue to suffer, while niche directories are currently faring much better at the moment.

P.s. Can you do a recap on these directories? I can see that they have moved around. E.g. Add Your Site Free has returned to a PR3.

Thanks Jerry,

Whenever Google does and update I come straight to your blog to see your analysis of it.
I truly appreciate how you are willing to share this much information with us even if we aren't subscriber's of SEO Revolution.
If I wasn't a StomperNet member I'd be an SEO Revolution subscriber, for sure.

Thanks again,
