That is interesting since you have been a big promoter of buying links. So now you are saying that buying and selling links isn’t a good idea? What about the billboards you have on your website, would that classify as selling links??

I have been a big promoter of marketing your site, which can include buying links. Buying links is not an issue - it is an issue when you do it to manipulate PageRank and incoming anchor text. Gaining links with the intent of gaining traffic is the proper mind set to have.
The issue with the recent “PageRank Slam” is from outright selling links for PageRank purposes.
The Billboard Pages we have are not “sold links” - we don’t sell links.
