Am I Quitting Too?

With all the top SEOs quitting the business lately, I’ve been asked by a lot of people, am I next?

This morning I was kicking back on the steps of my porch watching the sunrise. It is one of my favorite things to do … and today is extra special too. It’s my birthday. These last few days have been eventful to say the least.

Allow me to recap.

As part of my testing, I am often asked what my opinion is on certain eBooks or programs. My testing blew the lid off of the VEO Report, and the program I have been asked about a ton lately is the Stomper Net program from Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins.

But there was a problem. I couldn’t test what I couldn’t get my hands on. Their membership was closed and their old video set was no longer for sale. I tried on eBay, but failed (I hate when you get outbid at the last second).

So, I thought, “Why not call?” and I picked up the phone and called Brad Fallon direct. He was pretty cool and I asked about the videos and four days later, UPS delivered them.

Sweet.

After watching the first two, I didn’t witness any glaring “heretic SEO” advice, so I wanted to check this out deeper. With their business down in Atlanta – a four hour drive away – I called and invited myself for a 90 minute “uninterrupted” meeting. Brad jokingly said he never gets 90 minutes of uninterrupted time from his wife, but agreed. I cruised down this past Friday.

My intent was to find out what was wrong with StomperNet. Both and Andy and Brad were very personable. Andy was the talkative one, and Brad was more of the observer, but his insight was impressive, and I am one that is difficult to impress. Andy had a t-shirt on that said, “If I am talking, you should be taking notes.”

Classic.

At lunch, which was at a private club, I asked question after question regarding their business model, but then they turned the tables on me. I was no longer the hunter – I was the hunted.

“We want you to be a speaker and faculty member at our quarterly seminars. We’re putting together a ‘Dream Team’ and you are the missing piece that we need.”

I was shocked and stunned. Ever since the Ultra Advanced Symposium shut down last year that Robin Nobles and John Alexander hosted, I have greatly missed speaking. And knowing that my good friends Michael Campbell and Leslie Rohde are on board, I decided to accept their invitation today. Plus, I love the concept of a “Dream Team”. It just makes sense to have all the experts under one roof, doesn’t it?

Now, unlike Leslie and the others, I’m NOT quitting the business. The SEO Revolution will remain the repository of killer, tested information as it always has. Now, if you have wanted to get into StomperNet before, with this new launch that Brad and Andy are doing, I can get you in the back door. I’ll be sending out details on Thursday – stay tuned…
